Alex presented his work at the IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC) on “A 16×20 Electrochemical CMOS Biosensor Array with In-Pixel Averaging Using Polar Modulation.” Read more about it here.
Haowei also presented his work on a “A Sub-1 µW Multiparameter Injectable BioMote for Continuous Alcohol Monitoring.” Read more about it here.
Edwin successfully defended his thesis titled, “Ultra-Low Noise Current Measurement Front-Ends for Biological Applications” this afternoon. We celebrated his achievements with a “chip cake”! (If you are unfamiliar with this tradition, check out this video.) Edwin will join Apple starting next month.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded our research on using magnetic sensors to non-invasively monitor both protein and microRNA biomarkers to detect complications in pregnancy. Read more about it here.
Edwin presented his work at the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) on “A Current Measurement Front-end with 160 dB Dynamic Range and 7 ppm INL.” Read more about it here.
Congratulations to Edwin for receiving the Analog Devices outstanding student designer award! This award is presented by Analog Devices annually for excellence in analog, mixed-signal, or digital IC design, or system-level IC architectures, as well as excellence in class work, project, or thesis work and the potential for outstanding industrial contribution. The award will be presented at the 2018 International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC).
Edwin and Alex’s work titled “A 16×20 Electrochemical CMOS Biosensor Array with In-Pixel Averaging Using Polar Modulation” and Haowei, Xiahan, and Rajesh’s work on a “A Sub-1 µW Multiparameter Injectable BioMote for Continuous Alcohol Monitoring” were both accepted for oral presentation at the IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC)! Congratulations!
Haowei and Somok presented their work at the Western Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association (WECEDHA) hosted at UCSD.
